We don’t just teach these approaches—we created them!

FTF’s founder, Dr. Greg Hanley, developed Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment (Hanley et al., 2014).

We also train and consult on the Preschool Life Skills Program and the Balance Program, the development of both were led by FTF team members (Hanley et al., 2007; Ruppel, Hanley, et al., 2021).

The process we use to address sleep problems and selective eating were also developed by FTF leadership (Jin, Hanley, & Beaulieu, 2013; Gover, Hanley et al., in press).

Together, we’ve worked with hundreds of clients ages 2 through adulthood, with a range of diagnoses, in homes, clinics, public schools, specialized schools, residential programs, and hospitals.

We’re behavior analysts, and  many of us are certified teachers, administrators, psychologists, and speech-language pathologists.

…and professionally trained higher education providers.

We have led thousands of workshops and presentations for other professionals, and most of our consultants have also taught university courses as tenured/tenure-track faculty.

We are also a BACB Authorized Continuing Education Provider, and collectively we’ve been invited speakers at hundreds of conferences nationally and internationally.
