Lead Consultant / Director of Client Relations

Matthew Carbone is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a certified teacher in general education and in special education. He earned a Master of Science in Education from the University of Bridgeport and a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis from Teachers College, Columbia University. While attending Teachers College, he completed a two-year internship in the Comprehensive Application of Behavior Analysis to Schooling (CABAS®) Research and Development classrooms within Rockland BOCES and in the Fred S. Keller School. After obtaining his BCBA certification, he worked for six years as an applied behavior analysis consultant to school districts in California and in Connecticut. He is currently a doctoral student in the Behavior Analysis program at Western New England University under the advisement of Dr. Hanley.

 

Matthew has provided behavior analytic and special education services in over 25 public schools. He is a strong advocate for inclusion and believes in empowering special education teams with the capacity to teach their students in the least restrictive environment.
