Cory graduated from The George Washington University with Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology, and studied applied behavior analysis at UMass Boston. He is currently finishing his Ph.D. in behavior analysis at Western New England University, studying under the advisement of Dr. Gregory Hanley. His clinical experience includes delivering speech and behavior analytic services in public schools, private residential schools, and adult day programs.

Cory currently serves as a behavior analyst at The Autism Community Therapists, LLC (TACT) working in clinic, residential, and community settings. There, he implements the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) processes with children, adolescents, and adults to address emerging and severe problem behavior. He also provides consultative support to school districts in the areas of PFA/SBT, staff training, and program design.

His research interests include evaluating staff training methods in the PFA/SBT processes, assessing and treating severe problem behavior, and evaluating strategies for delivering effective services that result in long-term, generalized effects. He has served as a guest reviewer for Behavioral Interventions and Behavior Analysis in Practice.
