
Lead Consultant
Catherine Jessel is a Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (LBA/BCBA) and an Associate Consultant at FTF Behavioral Consulting. She completed her master’s degree with an experimental thesis at the University of North Texas under the supervision of Dr. Manish Vaidya. During graduate school, she worked at Denton State Supported Living Center under the supervision of Dr. Rick Smith conducting functional analyses, implementing medical and dental desensitization, designing individualized support plans, and training direct care staff. She also worked at a specialized Autism clinic providing 1:1 direct services, training RBTs, designing programs for skill acquisition, conducting assessments, and providing treatment for challenging behavior.
In addition to her work at FTF, Catherine currently works as a behavior analyst at Long Island ABA providing behavioral consultation for public school districts (in-district and out-of district clients) and supervising in-home services. Beyond clinical services, Catherine has published research on the practical functional assessment and teaches masters level ABA courses as an Adjunct Lecturer at Queens College.
