Dr. Barry Morgenstern has been working to make a significant difference in the lives of people with autism and other developmental disorders for over 25 years. He is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Connecticut and New York.
He earned a master’s degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy from Southern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from The Ohio State University.
He served as director of The Bay School in Santa Cruz, CA for five years. Later, he consulted to a large number of public schools in Connecticut through the Institute of Professional Practice for 15 years.
Currently, Dr. Morgenstern, in addition to being a post-doctoral fellow at FTF, is focusing on implementing Practical Functional Assessment and Skills Based Treatment in a clinic-based setting at POOGI for ABA. He is also an active blogger.
