Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) Comprehensive Virtual Workshop (Level 1-2)

Join us for an in-depth, interactive virtual workshop on Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill-Based Treatment (SBT), hosted by FTF Behavioral Consulting. With the guidance of our Senior and Lead Consultants, this workshop provides professionals with the opportunity to design an analysis and treatment for a learner in their care.

FTF Credentialing: Levels 1 and 2 (Education and Application)

Total CEUs available: 21 (19 General, 1 Ethics, 1 Supervision)

Workshop Overview

Asynchronous Learning:

Prior to the workshops scheduled synchronous events, attendees will complete the following FTF on-demand CEU trainings:

An email with instructions on how to access your on-demand content, including coupon codes, will be issued via email and according to the workshop’s schedule. The access period varies per course and begins from the date and time of code usage.

    • Plan for the IISCA and initial SBT steps
    • Earn 4 BACB CEUs (General)
  • Part 2: Intermediate PFA-SBT Design Session
    • Design SBT CAB Branches up to CAB6

Pre-requisites & Requirements:

  • Completion of the relevant on-demand CEU trainings
  • A completed open-ended interview for a client
  • Group sharing of PFA-SBT workbook via Zoom Group Chat

PFA-SBT Introductory and Intermediate Design Session Bundle (Level 2)

These sessions are for professionals who have already completed the 10-hr On-Demand CEU training presented by Dr. Hanley on PFA-SBT OR the 12-hr On-Demand CEU Training on PFA-SBT for Implementors presented by Drs. Hanley, Ruppel, and Cammilleri and are ready to design a PFA and SBT plan for a client in their care.

FTF Credentialing: Level 2 (Application)

Total CEUs Available: 9 BACB CEUs (9 General)

Synchronous Events:

  • Part 1: Introductory PFA-SBT Design Session
    • Plan for the IISCA and initial SBT steps
    • Earn 4 BACB CEUs (General)
  • Part 2: Intermediate PFA-SBT Design Session

PFA-SBT Advanced Education & Application Bundle (Level 5)

These sessions are for professionals ready to begin planning for post-CAB6 treatment extension—e.g., to additional implementers and settings and for extended periods. Professionals should have already completed Dr. Hanley’s 10-hr on-demand PFA/SBT training, the 12-hr PFA-SBT Implementor course. Attendees should also have completed a PFA, designed and begun teaching at least one CAB branch, and be ready for CAB 6 extensions.

FTF Credentialing: Level 5, Advanced Application and Education Credentials

Total CEUs Available: 7 BACB CEUs (General)

Asynchronous Learning:

An email with instructions on accessing your on-demand content, including coupon codes, will be issued via email and according to the bundle’s schedule. The access period varies per course and begins from the date and time of code usage.

Synchronous Events:

Advanced SBT Design Session

  • Designed for those who are ready for post-CAB6 challenges.
  • Interactive Zoom sessions in small groups for personalized learning.
  • Guidance from Senior and Lead Consultants to refine treatment goals and plan for skill generalization.

🛠 Pre-requisites & Requirements:

  • Level 2* qualifications in education/application.
  • Completion of specific on-demand courses, including SBT Generalization.
  • Active involvement in SBT treatment for a client, ideally up to CAB 5.
  • Collaborative sharing of your SBT Generalization workbook.

*Requires credentialing or certificate of completion for both the educational and practical aspects of PFA/SBT.

CEUs & Credentialing:

  • Earn a total of 6 General BACB CEUs: 3 from advanced education and 3 from the design session.
  • May fulfill the requirements for Level 5, Advanced Education and Application Credentials.
