Asynchronous Events

Attendees will complete a 3-CEU (1 General, 1 Supervision, 1 Ethics) On-Demand course presented by Dr. Hanley and Dr. Ruppel on Increasing Safety, Dignity, and Joy Across the Day: Universal Protocols at their convenience before the scheduled synchronous events. 

An email with instructions on accessing your on-demand content, including coupon codes, will be issued via email and according to the workshop’s schedule. The access period varies per course and begins from the date and time of code usage.

Synchronous Events

Description:

These sessions are for professionals who have already completed The Universal Protocol on-demand CEU by Dr. Hanley and Dr. Ruppel and are ready to design a personalized Universal Protocol for a client in their care.

These sessions will be conducted via Zoom in small groups with an FTF Senior or Lead Consultant. This additional capacity-building opportunity will primarily focus on developing a protocol emphasizing safety, dignity, and rapport. This will be the foundation of services delivered to a client in your care. Attendees will learn to:

• Design a personalized version of the protocol for your client.
• Individualize the implementation integrity checklist.
• Identify/develop data collection systems to evaluate the effects of the protocol on the variables most important to your client and team.

Agenda:

10:00 – 11:00 AM EST:  Consultant reviews an example with design tips.

11:00 -11:30 AM EST:  Attendees work individually on the Universal Protocol – Personalized workbook.

11:30 – 12:00 PM EST: Attendees join Zoom breakout rooms with other attendees to review the completed workbook.

12:00 PM EST:  Attendees upload their completed Universal Protocol – Personalized workbook to Zoom chat.

12:00 – 3:00 PM EST: Attendees rejoin the consultant in Zoom meeting to review completed designs. Each attendee will have a dedicated opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback from the consultant and other attendees on their specific case using their completed workbook.

Pre-requisites & Requirements:

Please note that active participation in the design session is predicated on the following:

• Your successful completion of ALL pre-requisite on-demand content.
• Your successful completion of the following for your specific client (at least two weeks before the design session):
  • Client Specific UniPro Workbook

While individual questions and problem-solving are encouraged, cases with many complicating variables or barriers may be better addressed via an individual consultation.

Successful completion of the design session will yield 4 General BACB CEUs.

Please be aware that synchronous events will be presented in English and will not include transcripts. We kindly request that all attendees come prepared to speak and present in English. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate translators at this time.
