Synchronous Events

Part 1: FTF’s Introductory PFA-SBT Design Session

Planning for the IISCA and initial steps of SBT (i.e., up to CAB2)

• Description:
  • Attendees will learn to:

1. 1. 1. Extract unique synthesized reinforcement contingencies from interviews
      2. Design safe and effective functional analyses from the interviews
      3. Design the initial steps of a skill-based treatment (i.e., up to CAB2) based on the analysis and the terminal goals of treatment for a client
      4. Revise analysis and treatment steps based on client performance

• • The focus of these sessions will be on the foundations of identifying individualized reinforcement and evocative contexts for a learner. While individual questions and problem-solving is encouraged, unique cases may be better addressed via an individualized consultation. Attendees will be provided with updated implementation support materials.
  • Successful completion of the Introductory PFA-SBT Design Session will yield 4 BACB CEUs (General).
  • Pre-requisites & Requirements:
    • Completed FTF’s Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment (2025) with or without CEUs.

      • If you have not yet completed the on-demand content, please register for the Level 1 and 2 Bundle.
    • Completed an open-ended interview for one client.

Part 2: FTF’s Intermediate PFA-SBT Design Session

Designing CAB Branches informed by the IISCA (i.e., CAB3-6)

• Description:
  • Attendees will learn to:

1. 1. 1. Describe a variety of suitable replacement behavior chains for different clients and settings
      2. Refine treatment goals based on PFA results
      3. Use backward design to plan shaping steps toward those treatment goals
      4. Individualize decision-making about what to prioritize based on client strengths, needs, and values.
      5. Maximize safety, televisibility, and rapport throughout skill building

• • Successful completion of this design session yields 4 BACB CEUs (General).

This bundle features the opportunity to receive 8 BACB CEUs, as well as meet the requirements for Level 2 PFA-SBT Credentials.

Meeting invitations and Zoom links for the synchronous events will be sent the day prior to the scheduled event. Participants are encouraged to accept these meeting invitations so as to ensure FTF’s synchronous events populate your time zone.

Only registered attendees may attend FTF’s synchronous events.

Full attendance with video is necessary to obtain the allocated CEUs. CEU certificates for the synchronous events will be provided via email within one week of the event.

While individual questions and problem-solving is encouraged, unique cases may be better addressed via an individualized consultation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

FTF reserves the right to cancel classes or events due to low enrollment. In such cases, you will be given the option to transfer your registration to the next scheduled event or receive a full refund.

If you need to cancel your own registration, cancellation requests must be received no later than two business days prior to the start of the event or course to receive a full refund.

No refunds are guaranteed for requests received after this time, and no refunds will be issued after the first class has taken place.
