FTF’s Advanced SBT Design Session

Planning for generalization and maintenance (i.e., CAB6 and beyond)

Description:

These sessions are for professionals ready to begin planning for post-CAB6 treatment extension—e.g., to additional implementers and settings and for more extended periods. Professionals should have already completed FTF’s PFA-SBT On-Demand course, and the 1-hr On-Demand CEU training presented by Dr. Ruppel on Skill-Based Treatment Extension: Generalization and Maintenance. Attendees should also have completed a PFA, designed and begun teaching at least one CAB branch, and be ready for CAB 6 extensions.

• Note. Suppose you still need to complete the on-demand coursework. In that case, signing up for the PFA-SBT Advanced Education & Application (Level 5) Bundle may be more appropriate, which includes the necessary on-demand trainings and design sessions.

Attendees will learn to:

• • Identify and describe relevant generalization contexts.
  • Refine the end goals of treatment for individual clients.
  • Prioritize and sequence treatment extension steps.
  • Plan for additional skills that may need to be taught, such as moving from the omnibus mand to specific mands and tolerating reinforcement intervals in which some components may be limited or absent.

Individual questions and case problem-solving are welcome. For highly unique cases, separate consultation may be recommended.

CEUs & Credentialing

• Successful completion of the bundle yields:
• 8 BACB CEUs total
  • 4 for On-Demand
  • 3 for Design Session
• Level 5 PFA-SBT Credentials

Cancellation and Refund Policy

FTF reserves the right to cancel classes or events due to low enrollment. In such cases, you will be given the option to transfer your registration to the next scheduled event or receive a full refund.

If you need to cancel your own registration, cancellation requests must be received no later than two business days prior to the start of the event or course to receive a full refund.

No refunds are guaranteed for requests received after this time, and no refunds will be issued after the first class has taken place.
